The preferred choice for farmers of Agricultural Tracks

Here’s a great idea if you’re looking for something colorful, fun and easy.  These rollups look as though they require a lot of effort, and so using these in your entertaining plans is sure to impress all of your guests.  I can envision serving these on a plate with fresh fruit and a dollop of whipped cream for an easy dessert; or doing these in happy Easter colors to delight your children.  Use your imagination!  Here are simple steps along with some photos taken by Janelle in our office when she made them.

Jello Roll Ups

INGREDIENTS:

1. 3 oz. (85 g) Jello

2. 1/2 Cup Boiling Water

3. 3 oz (85 g) Marshmallows (This amounted to about 10 marshmallows according to Janelle)

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a large bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water, stir until well dissolved.

2. Add marshmallows to the bowl.

3. Microwave for 35 seconds or until marshmallows just begin to puff.

4. Stir until melted marshmallows are completely dissolved in the mixture.

5. Spray or grease a shallow cookie pan with vegetable oil.

6. Pour the mixture into the pan, and spread across evenly.

7. Keep the pan in a refrigerator for 45 minutes.

8. Remove the pan from refrigerator and detach the jello edges from the pan using a spatula.

9. Roll up the jello (marshmallows will hold the roll tight).

10. Cut the roll using a cake cutting wire (sewing thread also works).
