Tractor Fact: What was the first tractor with PTO?

The answer, as you can see in this picture, is the International Harvester Model 8-16 tractor – introduced in 1918.

This Case IH M275 wasn't the first tractor with PTO, but it's a good modern example of a tractor with PTO.

Can you imagine farming without PTO? It’d be tough to get much done!
